Making the most of your time in Huntington Beach, CA
While spending time in Huntington Beach, the array of leisure time activities is really endless!
Depending on your desire to seek adventure, fun in the sun or just squeeze in some much needed R & R…Huntington Beach truly has something for everyone!
If you choose to stay “close to home”, the Hyatt is a haven for relaxation! The Pacific Waters Spa is a full service, 20,000 square foot tropical refuge, offering everything from massage, facials, a full service salon and amazing amenities! Even if you do not choose to treat yourself to a spa treatment, every hotel guest is entitled to full use of the Spa amenities, including saunas, whirlpools, waterfall showers, and a state of the art fitness center! Much needed after a long day of appointments!
Also, right on the Hyatt grounds is the fabulous “Toes on the Nose”! Your one stop shop for fun, adventure and a chance to experience Southern California’s favorite pastime…Surfing!! Stop in to rent a surfboard or body board, and even book a private surf lesson with a local surfing expert! Feeling a little more mild, and less on the wild side? Bike rentals are also available for full and half day excursions around town!
Want to venture out? Use the Pedestrian Bridge from the Hyatt for easy access to the beach! Take a stroll down Huntington Beach to the Pier for a great view of the Ocean! Directly across from the Pier is downtown Main Street….an array of specialty shops and fantastic restaurants!
Don’t miss Surf City Nights on Tuesday, August 30th from 5-9pm, when Main Street is transformed into an exciting Street Fair with live music, food, street vendors and sidewalk sales!
Back on the beachside, make sure to stop in at Duke’s on the beach!! Grab dinner or appetizers and don’t forget to have one of their famous Mai-Tai’s, which I can personally recommend!
We are also fortunate to be in Huntington Beach for the fantastic Art-A-Faire, an arts and crafts event, showcasing handmade and original artwork! The Faire is held at Pier Plaza, Friday, September 2nd through Monday, September 5th, 12n ‘til Sunset each day! Stop by to enjoy the works of talented local artists!
